Thank you. That is good man formation to have at the machine.
Those little buggers be 8.4 is when it comes to CFM about the same lift
Yes and for the smaller size and only 14amp max I do like them..11hg feels strong on the hand..15hg and above had got to be crazy..

I'd like to test in series however my lid already has a little more flex than I'd like and don't want to take my chances with 18hg hah..

I already have a new tank design I want to do that will be much stronger so once this machine starts making some money I'll get that and be able to do series as well

You know I'm really happy for you what you're doing is really cool.
I just don't have time to play anymore I wish I did I just got so busy with work. I know that's not supposed to be a bad thing lol

And seriously I'm not meaning to be a jerk over the zx versus LX thing I'm just trying to get information out there.

After all in mytee release the LX they put all the numbers for everyone to see.

with rotovac it's been a lot of hinting but with no real numbers it's kind of sideways.

I'm hoping to share more information When I can.

Let's face it this is a test everyone actually wants to see is where the nozzle hits the the carpetView attachment 84740
I really like that they did try to make this clear ... however it's still not perfect..not saying they're lying but there is too many variables to make it an accurate test without them giving us more information..

Need to confirm they all were tested on the same carpet type and fiber

all tested on a fresh area not a already wet area from another test

Exact hose length and diameter and hose type

Confirmed no leaks in hose cuffs or other connections

The same wand for everyone

If they were using water with test they all need the same pump and jets

Tested same day close together and at same location

Same operater to account for different users applying different pressure and angle on carpet..

What the pluming was like on all setups

Etc
Etc ...it's a good test but still missing stuff

I must say I was very impressed with the Rotovac CFX with new motors at the trade show. Super strong vacuum.

i woudnt have said this a few years ago...

but I believe running 2 of these, cfx......pigtailed......
is a real deal for me and others for long hose runs are highrise...
this is true TM vacuum if my calculations are correct....

2 cfx(4 vac motors)
same with the LX

are almost the exact same specs as a 4.5-47 TM blower

but you would have to get 2 portables....
however those of us that do 300' hose runs this is really an easier setup.....

Cool Rob were you able to compare it with a mytee machine. Your thoughts are always respected and helpful

They were not at the trade show so I could not. But man that little CFX was super impressive especially for its size. Remember I know only a little about portables I’ve always been primarily Truckmount. It pulled like a Truckmount at 25’. Not sure what it could do at 50’ though

That's really cool
Further you get North the more portable become necessary.

I think this is what rotovac trying to avoid people finding out. keep in mind that machine only has an inch and a half inlet where the rotovac has a 2in inlet that would make a difference in the cfms View attachment 84737View attachment 84738
I have a sandia. Very well built. I'm not into portys as much as you guys but I'm always surprised they are never brought up in good brands. I have the 12 gallon one with an older dual vac setup but it's been flawless.
