E3B91E47-A064-41CF-A47F-F4A944D42891.jpeg Anyone with wool rug experience have any ideas? I’ve tried a few things in small areas to find out if I could remove them at all but so far no joy. Coffee remover, rust remover, even a dab of red stain remover - nothing seems to touch it.

chinese rug. different colors react in different ways to treatment. seems like someone pre-spotted some areas and caused color loss. If you don't know what that is or how to go about it, walk. you will need oxidizers and reducers and know exactly which one is not going to affect the colors.
