Always wanted to do it with my CDS and I am going to do it on the Cleanco. Has anyone else used a key fob 4 channel remote on their machines? Going to wire it in for remote and panel use, but figured I'd see what the collective has done already?

I have heard of these...
but I thought they were also on slide ins.....

That would be great if you are up a 2-3 story hotel
or house or 300' down a theater or school....

do they reach remote that far out or do you have to be within 50-100'????

I know chip Garber has done it on one of his butlers, but not for sure what he is using.

When I sold one of my Mytee Escapes to a hotel owner, he gave me feedback on how he set up wireless remote control for his Escape. I advised against it to because of fire hazard, but he claimed that he was able to switch on/off all four motors individually, same goes for a pressure pump. Unfortunately, I don't remember details, but according to him, it was simple hack. Easy to say for a guy with IT background .

It should be very easy to wire in, 2 clutches and high idle mode are relatively low amp draw too. Some of these relays handle 10 amp per channel, clutches draw less than half that. It really will be nice to turn off the equipment before dropping hoses off a 2nd or 3rd floor or for prespraying and shutting down to scrub and then powering back up. Up to 300 feet is what most are saying that they are getting range wise, 150 will be fine for me. It's totally unnecessary for a rig with 2 guys, but working solo I think it will be handy for $30 total cost and a couple hours of my time. I'll keep you posted on the results.

Prochem tried to get fancy with e-idle. you would key the wand 3 times and the machine would drop down to idle. then key 3 times again and back up to full throttle. Great idea. IMO...unfortunately the wrong audience.
Features like this are just another costly repair. The simpler the machine, the more profitable it will be.
Remote control of a CDS would be the easiest to do. On/Off, that simple.

Very little has changed about the TM in while. Spray and suck...

Be even better to have one with a HuD display on the remote control feeding you info about PSI, RPM, etc
How often, when you are cleaning, do you wonder what your RPM's are??? I thought this would be the next small breakthrough, but you'd know before the readout could tell you.

I put an obd II port splitter on my van and keep a bluetooth diagnostic tool plugged in full time. It gives me loads of info going down the road or with the machine running.

I installed two 2 channel wireless switches today and it turned out fantastic. I have the remote buttons as follows.
A-Unit power-clutch under the hood
B-High Idle
C-Cat pump clutch
D-Work lights
Works at over 200' with no issues. Apparently these have good longevity, but time will tell. Total cost was $38 lol

ooks good
never run a PTO
can you justromote start the engine off and on...
I know most cars now have remote startup

No this vehicle doesn't have remote start (not sure that would work to be honest, remote starts have cues to shut off). In park, idling with the parking brake on it operates just fine to achieve high idle and other functions.

Wouldn't allow me to post a 17 second video of operation i connected this module to the the waste tank high water shut off circuit works great has a 900' range. 29.00 Amazon could be connected to key switch also but with my system this was easier and still allowed the waste pump to work
