I took a job offer making more money than I have ever made in my entire life. I lost sight of the entrepreneurship dream! Things got comfy and then BAM. No job. I wasn't willing/able to relocate.
So I'm back in the game 100%. I can go get a job any day. (and I might have to if this doesn't go as planned) so far so good!
I offer VLM cleaning and have landed and completed 3 jobs since Friday. a humble total of $190.00. very small jobs. but in 6 hours (depending on how you look at it) of total work... I'm off to a good start.
SUCCESS STORY:
I hate cold calling. I hate door to door. But I went door to door this morning from 9:00-10:30. Made a script. Short sweet and to the point. Landed a job for $130.00. Camacho would be pissed because it is for 3 rooms, 2 tiny halls and stairs. But hey, I need the money and she was the FIRST DOOR I WENT TO.
New guys like me, go door to door if you need money. it took about 12 houses for me to lose my jitters and realize that at that moment, I was a raging professional. I was in the zone. I hit 28 homes before I got kicked out by the head of HOA and my vehicle's license plate was being written down to be towed. haha but hey, it just adds to the story right? and guess what. even he has my card
Anyway, sorry for falling off. You guys and gals have been good to me. I pretty much left Ryan Kettering completely hanging too. And I feel like chit for it. I lost my job, got divorced, and am fighting for custody of my son all within a few months and it messed me up. No excuses anymore. Only up from here!
