FB What type of stains is good to use a fels bar?

Fels has allowed me to stop wearing a huge spotting pouch.

Now I use a tiny clip pouch with fels and one other spotter depending on type of spots.

I use fels on any dark , oily or starchy spot.

Rub edge on filtration lines.

Rub flat side on dark worn areas.

Rub skinny edge on bullnose of stairs.

Wide variety of use.
90% of stubborn soils, I can remove with fels

I have a video on YouTube about it. Key is use it wet, don't over apply and rinse well to avoid soapy soil attracting residue.

About 20 years ago I took half a fels bar and melted it down into a 5 gallon jug and added a couple drops of liquid bluing and a few oz of vinegar then used it as a booster for prespray. This was a powerful booster for sure. I even watered it down further as a spotter without the vinegar and liquid bluing. Only problem was the fels would separate and float to the top of the jug. Kinda greasy texture from what I remember. Good old days with a portable and no common sense lol

At what point in the cleaning process would you use Fels bar for say traffic lanes?

Is that an outdated approach with the new chemistry available today?
