What Should Do After Water Damage or Flooding
  • Try to take out any excess water you can by mopping and blotting.
  • After removing any tabletop items wipe excess water from wooden furniture.
  • Remove and prop damp upholstery and cushions.
  • Place aluminum foil wooden blocks under furniture legs
  • Remove all colored rugs from wet carpeting.
  • Remove all artwork to a dry and safe place.
  • Collect all loose items from floors.
  • Keep out of place even room where ceilings are drooping.
  • Turn off the waterline.
What Should Not Do After Water Damage or Flooding
  • You shouldn’t leave wet fabrics in place. Hang furs and leather items.
  • Don’t leave any colored items and books, magazines on wet carpet or floors.
  • To remove water don’t use your household vacuum
  • Television or other electric devices shouldn’t use during this time.
  • Don’t use any household appliances.
  • If the ceiling is wet don’t turn on ceiling fixtures.

- Engage audience in two-way communication

What Shouldn't Do

- Spam forum of professionals advertising same service
- Use broken or confusing language
- Insert links to business which could be used for nefarious purpose
- Offer incorrect advice on ad to professional forum
