I use a Cyclo first to scrub and then I extract with a Trinity Stepson and cotton bonnet.

Cyclo is $300+ and a Stepson is $400+. You can usually find a used Cyclo on Ebay.

Cyclo is also good for scrubbing furniture with the grey brushes.

Micro Orbot is a Cyclo but more expensive. Buy the Cyclo. Check ebay !!!

Sometimes I use a 10'' CRB to scrub but then I use the Stepson to extract. I think you need both. Scrubber and extractor. Stepson works good with a thin cotton bonnet. Pulls out a lot of soil.

Why don’t you use the Stepson with a microfiber orv

Why don’t you use a microfiber or a fiber pad to scrub with the Stepson and then follow with a bonnet. Use one machine.

Get another Orbiter. I'm on my 4th. Hit the crazy list, get one barely used between $150-$200 and be done. I always have one as a backup.

If the carpet isn't too bad I will just use the Stepson with cotton or microfiber. I never tried a fiber pad on the Stepson.

Some of the feedback on the micro orbot was that it's quicker to do upholstery by hand and the small pads (bonnets) that go on the ORBOT Micro end up tearing or not working good for extraction.

Not true?

I don't use cotton bonnets on the stepson anymore. They are a pain in the a**. They just don't want to stay on the velcro. I now use the dark blue microfiber with scrub strips.
