lol this thread is 3 years old between posts.I get what Lisa is saying Dusty. Frankly no product advertising is worth $400 or $500. If you want to show people how to use your product and they want to pay for this well more power to them but I would never pay for something that promotes a product line. Biggest problem with handmade is that you are never quite sure just what it is made of. Silk or Rayon or Mercerized cotton is it wool and if so is the dye set. If the dye is set is it set all over or just one spot? Did the previous cleaner use and abuse with too much soap? Best thing to do is go to a resale shop and buy some ragged Old Persian type carpets and run some test. Peter Stone “Oriental Rug Repair” has a book that cost maybe $60 to $80 and has a nice section on cleaning Persian rugs but even more important you will have a great reference on fiber.
