I think kits are a bit overrated. Undoubtedly there will be a few products that will not be used and will end up going to waste.

I always keep on hand:
Oxidizer
Reducer
Solvent Spotter
Rust Remover
Encap Spotter
Filter Soil Remover

With the above products you can deal with 98% of issues you issues you come across.

I have been doing this long enough now all I have to do is look at the stain and it goes away:rolleyes:

Can't quite accept using cake soap on carpet. Will it remove soil? - yes.

Will it rinse well? - no.

Is it formulated for use on carpet? - no.

Is it industry recommended best practice? - certainly not.
