Getting ready to try Flex myself. Usually went wit PC products. I will still run acid rinse following or detergent if soiled very bad and then a rinse following. Let us know what you think.

I haven't tried Flex, but may at some point. I've been using Grand Slam from Jondon for quite a few years and it's a proven performer. I sometimes boost with Hydramaster Grease Break if the carpet is extra bad. I also use Chemeister Grease Eraser which is another proven performer.

Like these 3 in order for nasties or heavily soiled carpet:

Prochem Powerburst
Pros Choice Extreme Clean
Bridgepoint Flex

I bought the Flex first, and have had it for a while since going through a ton of the other 2.

Crap, I just forgot the name of the highPh i use. I typically follow up with an acid rinse when I use that stuff because it's like 13-14ph.
WOW, I have never seen a product as high as 13 or 14 !!!
What in the world are you using?

Cheers, AL

13-14 might as well roll in new carpet after that. Just joking...We use steam Action for our main prespray with the super charger (Part 2).

If you have never tried steam action extremely clean prespray i highly recommend it. Only around 20 a gallon and highly concentrated. Rinses freely and has ability to surprise you every time. Traffic lanes are a blast even on olefin.

For super duper stuff we will resort back to prochem for the power burst. If its a one timer we will add some delim. Doesn't rinse the greatest but leaves one hell of a clean streak! try it out!!

No one likes Pros choice huh?

Enzibrite by MPC; dwell 20 minute after prespray. Very inexpensive; Smells like popouri for up to 3 weeks after cleaning. This stuff beats anything I have seen hands down. If you get balck top tar; follow with Orange Solv and a nuetral rinse.

Rickie, are you using this for a prespray? I looked it up and it says for hard surfaces? Nothing about carpet?
And not to mix with Acid or Alkaline or products with Bleach.

But I sure do like the idea of using it after cleaning, for the long lasting scent part of it.
And if its works great on black top tar thats a plus.

dupont;

We like PowerMax, a Powder Prespray that has:

1. Moderately High pH -10.5

2. Citrus Solvent for grease

3. Oxidizer for odors and stains

4. Enzyme for pet and food odors

5. Builder effective in moderately hard water.

With all of these, it also works well for grout cleaning.
