What are some reasons carpet cleaners been sued over?

Each year we hear of cleaners who get sued for one reason or the other. Any reasons you know of or seen?

My only experience being sued in court was a slip and fall she sued us for 2 million, she got a pity judgement for 40k the 1st go round, she decided that wasnt enough so she appealed and lost all of it the second go round on appeal. Was the most stressful 2 weeks ive ever had in business

Had a lady that tried to sue us.. her mentally challanged dad (dementia i believe) lived on 1st floor of one of our properties one of my guys was lowering the wand off the second floor balcony after finishing a clean and he walked face first into the wand it broke his nose and supposedly gave him ptsd from the trauma....judge wouldnt hear the case thank god judge said they were negligent for not exercising due caution and or a care giver not being with him. Judge actually chewed the daughter out in pre-trial for not taking better care of her dad

Yes sir, broke her hip (required a partial hip replacement) elbow and wrist. She was warned several times to be careful going from carpet to tile and admitted in court she was. However after we left the phone rang and she said she hurried to get it, came off carpet onto tile and fell. Jury awarded her the 40k the 1st time because the medical expert said she could possibly need a full hip replacement within 10 years. She appealed it saying it wasnt enough, second time she lost completely including the 1st judgement
