After 40 years of cleaning I can think of a few. Let’s hear yours.

JFR if I can’t get a stain out this is my last resort...

In my market it's the furniture varnish those little round spots left from other cleaners who didnt tab up the furniture.

Wood stains can be one of the worst. Ever slide a table and get an immediate wood stain? If you don’t rinse it right away it usually doesn’t come out.

For older stains I’ve used Unchained, put a piece of cellophane over it and write a note leave cellophane for 8 hrs. Anyone used a UV light on wood stains with much success?

Permanent stains are the hardest to remove.

Rubber bicycle tires that sit on nylon for a long while will drive you nuts, it's like super BHT on steroids.
Reminds me. Wheelchair marks are really tough.

Gel solvent, let dwell 5 min then scrub & extract. Usually works pretty good.

Most stains I can remove except bleach, wood, turmeric and any stain that the customer have tried with their own product most like it sets the stain.

Wood stains from furniture legs, curry, turmeric and also urine stains from small pets that have been on medication. Certain medications do something to the urine making it nearly impossible to remove.
