. Steps here.

PM co. Seems to think they did the right thing to improve the appearance. I think it's short term bandaid. I did not think it should have been sealed.

it will wear down in high traffic areas much faster than low traffic. Then I doubt they repair it properly. grout lines will wind up full of grease and wax most likely. will be a $1.50 PSF job by the time they want it stripped. maybe more. as far as I'm concerned

What is done is done. I am not touching it. I will wait a year when it all looks like heck again. Worn off, etc.

That's the problem with waxing it, it'll wear off off the tile but it's not going to wear off the grout. Thus it's a monster to remove from grout.

Yup yup yup, looks like it has been waxed. Our wal mart waxed their entry tile a couple years ago. Knowing the mess they were in for I took these pictures over about a 3 month period. The first picture is about a month after waxing, the second one a month later, and the last one a month after that.

They have since tried to strip it all off LOL and even now two years later you can still see spots of wax where they have not been able to get it all off. The grout looks horrible now.

Wow they really butchered that. I bet the day when the head Walmart guy came up with the idea to wax that floor and saw the results he was so proud.

2 years later he's probably working at Kmart now.

They put in foe wood sheet vinyl here all under the clothes section. Then immediately applied a shiny finish. I guess they didn't glue it very good cause it buckled everywhere. Then they had to strip it all off and pull it up and glue it down. It was like a month ordeal.
