Hey everyone. I am just starting out in the carpet cleaning industry. I am researching my starting equipment. I cannot afford a TM, so I have opted to go with a 500 psi portable with a heater. Also I plan to buy a Rotovac 360i. The local Jon-Don mentioned that some customers prefer truck mounted units because of noise, water use, and the results. Is it possible to run a portable from inside the truck, so it appears to be a proper TM? I plan to buy a nice generator to run the portable from the van, in case customers have the concerns I just mentioned.
