I dry vacuum really good first (this removes 75% of the dirt), then I spray a fine mist of OMS on the piece, agitate with a white towel, then dry extract. I generally use this wand:Can I ask you process for dryclean? Do you just wipe on/off or wipe on extract off?
Honestly a portable is almost better than a truckmount for this, just make sure the portable is outside so the exhaust doesn’t fumigate the house.I wonder how many people have attempted this with a porty

You are missing out on good and easy money. It’s easy to do $300+ per hour on drapery cleaning.I’ve never cleaned a drapery in my life.
