Good Products cost money, But they are worth it!
we have a butler tm, we spend about 2500 plus a year on chems for it because the tech running it pumps out up to 6 houses a day... I want the carpets perfect so damned the cost on chems... Just get R done !!!!Just to clarify - The question is about what your costs are for chemicals. How much do you spend on chemicals each year. This is not about what you charge for your services.
Make a referral card to give to customers, when you give them the referral card tell them yall are running a contest at the shop for who can get the most referrals for the month.. Tell them you need 7 referrals to win !!! Most customers will give you 7 referrals and then mail them sales flier with introduction and call a few days later... Im usually in the 70-80% book rate on referrals. I also do all the calls on referrals myself... Each Monday I have about 60-80 referrals, all four trucks collected during the week that I mail out to and call by weds..It takes money to make money! Chemicals are not the problem in my business, I spend to much on advertising! Referrals is where I’m trying to do more of these days!

Spot on Rob, i too know many cleaners who are only concerned about prices and nothing else, some get rid of great equiptment to buy junk and then clean carpets with laundry soap or dish washing detergent... If you want to be a professional do professional work and that includs using the highest standards in equipment and Chemicals. Ive spent thousands of dollars on Robs chems, and my business has grown over that time. Heat and Chems win every time.Love how cleaners want clients to pay good price for quality then spend hours trying save a little and end up with low quality. Eventually if they wise up they realize quality pays and low quality costs.

nice! This is for truckmount guys only, not portable or VLM guys.
If you want to explain why your costs are whatever, they are, feel free.
Chemicals are for any service for which you use your truckmount. Can be carpet, upholstery, tile floors or whatever. But just for truckmount cleaning.
Thanks.
