Looks like a Pro Chem Legend GT to me, Blue Wave didn't have that kind of grill on it. Doesn't necessarily mean it was a HX, a lot of guys take out the HX and use fuel-fired.

Really the most dangerous component of truckmounts imo is the fuel tap.

Gas TM + fuel fired heat with fuel tap/line near the heater... good luck lol.

Add in years of vibration on the fuel line hose clamps and a dumbass carpet cleaner who does zero maintenance

Boom

Heat exchangers are only a problem if you set something on top of them. These look like leaking propane gas fittings or propane tank exploded. Always use tape and dope.

I lit the ceiling of an econoline on fire with my old northstar diesel, it had that nylon covered styrafoam, diesel is the safest of the fuel fired heaters. Still dont use them anymore though

that was definetly a hx by hydramaster

but remember HX TM cant catch on fire...
so it must have been arson from a local competitor who got a little carried away after a debate on TMF.....lol

Any poorly maintained machine or operator error can result in a fire. The wisdom of discernment is a HX unit has much less potential for a fire.
