Best way to remove topical coating (maybe mop n glo) from 1500 sq ft of dark travertine?

I'm thinking stripper like any other floor, thoughts...?

Then DIP one grit to leave even matte finish and impreg sealer

Customer doesn't want shiny finish.

Try to find out exactly what’s on the floor. If it is mop & glow or wax then stripper and a black pad will remove it. If you are dealing with a gloss stone sealer it may be a bit more difficult. Knowing what product has been applied will be a big help as you can usually look up the product and it will tell you what to use to remove it.

Customer has no idea what it is.
If it is a stone sealer, how do you approach that?

Put a drop of stripper on the floor and see if it turns a cloudy color, showing acrylic. If it doesn’t, it’s possible it could be a urethane

If it’s a stone sealer I would get this product to remove it.
