Pros and cons, problem is it's not easy to "McDonaldlize" carpet cleaning.

The franchise I worked for was greedy, ran by owners who had a superiority complex and felt that workers were their property.

Not saying they all do that , but at end of the day I can do the same thing for a private company and pass on the 20% take corporate was getting to have higher quality technicians.

Carpet cleaning franchises used to be good years ago before the advent of the internet. But now....between TMF and YouTube along with your ability to figure out what works best for your market and to weed out the bullshit....Who needs a franchise anymore. Not worth it.

Don't do it, you will work 2,3 times more for the same money then working for your self. Just build your own clients. If you are new then get in as a subcontract as a part time and part time for yourself, slowly build it and go full time for yourself.
