A 36 blower is barely a truckmount as i had one once...
barely over a portable.....
yikes man... all this advice is telling me to go bigger while i got the cash
I would disagree about it being barely over a portable. I have a 2008 tmt machine that has a 36 and it is plenty sufficient. I do carpet and tile and have great dry times. Even at 200-300 ft runs. I also recently bought a portable and couldn't imagine how hard it would be to clean carpet with it

What is the biggest blower you have used? If it’s a 36 I understand your comment. If not that’s a small unit. Maybe 150’ max of hose.

I bet. Would the motor setup also influence the blower?
You need a big enough engine to drive a bigger blower, but not too big. I’ve seen a 20hp engine on a truckmount with a 45 blower. I’d say 27hp plus to drive a 45 or 47 blower correctly. My engine is a 32.5 kabota with a 47 blower.

I have a TMT 3000. I bought it for cheap like around 1000-2000. It needed some rehab which was prob another couple thousand. Well I do think it is a solid machine, I definitely wish it had a bigger blower. A 45 would be perfect. If I knew how to install a blower I would put a 45 in as I have a couple spares. I would not recommend spending 20,000 on this machine though. If it is cheap, a whole different story. I like it but not 20,000 much.

Hello im a new member here.
looking for advice on if im getting a good buy.
a local guy is selling a used 2015 the masters touch 3000 set up with a trailer. He wants 20k firm.
inside is a hydramaster 323 i believe, with just 78 hours.
is fully loaded with tile and grout tools
rotovac power head machine
reels of pressure hoses
vacuum hoses
carpet wands
upholstery tools
a large variety of chemicals and other small accessories .
Im an experienced carpet cleaner running an older hydramaster bobcat 2 turning small rental apartments but id like to grow my business,
i have no experience with tile and grout cleaning.
also while testing the truck mount it would not generate heat until it had vacuum resistance , or in other words it would not generate heat until the vacuum was pulling hard,,,is this normal? kinda threw me off.
thanks for your time.
A 323 is about $19k alone. If it’s a hydramaster 323 and hasn’t been frozen I’d offer $14500 for entire package. It works great up to 150’ of hose. Most residential is a 150’ or less.
