I have been cleaning rugs for a few years now but recently stepped up to a full scale wash pit with custom built drying racks. I was wondering if there is any solution I can apply to the tassles while cleaning the rest of the rug in the wash pit. The tassles are coming out great now but I have a feeling they can come out better.

Thanks Lisa

After vacuuming the fring, wet it down with cold water.

Here is the formula. To 1 gallon of hot water, add

4 ounces of Fabric Shampoo
2 Ounces of Buff All
1 ounce of Boost All.

Whip this into a foam and brush into the fringe. Rinse with clear water.

For more details, see my article on fringe cleaning at www.CleanWiki.com It is in the Technical Bulletins section under area rugs.
