A few years back I coined the acronym CET. It stands for cordless extraction tools. I will base my discussion off that acronym. First off, atm no CET tool will out do a wand or especially a rotary in residential unless it’s CGD. CET’s (cordless extraction tool) were designed and work best on CGD. We’ve done side by side tests. Swivels clean better, dry faster and don’t need anywhere as much agitation.

A CET tool provides zero agitation or scrubbing ability. It’s mostly a rinsing tool. Therefore you must prevacuum well, machine pre agitate and do multiple passes to make it work.

Also it’s impossible in tight spaces or furnished homes. Plus it’s very heavy 3x’s weight Ti wand. Can you make it work? Sure. You can make a Rug Dr work but it’s ineffective and inefficient. Same with a zipper, Bonzer and CX in a home.

Now here is the kicker the Bonzer being smaller and especially now the Bentley Pro could change that dynamic some. The Bonzer still needs the agitation and is square shaped. The uniqueness of the MBP is three things, the head shape, the adjustable flow valve and the high flush capability of the jets without causing halo's or crop circles in the carpet. The Zipper spinner, which only comes in heavy and large 17" provides agitation by spinners but in many cut piles you will get halo's or crop circles. So its almost impossible to use in a small or occupied home. But more impossible is getting the crop circles out of a poly carpet. So all in all the MBP shows a lot of promise. My techs have the other tools mostly gathering dust, but the MBP they have been using on rugs. I used it on commercial and was shocked by its capability. My next tests will be in homes. My schedule is extremely busy but I plan on taking it out to 10 homes. I will report back in this thread and post my findings.

what i like about the mbp is that you don't have to adjust the height for different carpet pile, a home can have a different carpet types, usually the basements are berber and the second level has high pile carpets and i use to hate to adjust both of the zipper and the bonzer. mbp doesn't need to be adjusted just go to work and finish the job.

Other than the adjusting how is it easier than the Zipper and Bonzer? Size, configuration or ?

so far i am noticing that it really dries the carpet better then the other 2. it really glues on the carpet very well for a great recovery with its unique metal glides. the weight is not too heavy as the zipper and not light as the bonzer, it is somewhere between. with a zipper it is almost impossible to clean those small closets but this thing makes it possible to clean closets. today i have cleaned 2 small closets with it. monday i can shoot some videos when cleaning closets. the head fits easier to those tighter areas, however it is too early. i am still trying to get used to this type of tool from a traditional wand.

i spilled water on my laptop and the keyboard is not working great, that is why i have to use lower case after a period.

i have a roller that i roll my back before i go to bed every day with a full body stretch,

since i started to use this tool on my residential jobs i feel my back has less stress at the end of the day. i have to make this tool work 70-80 percent of my jobs so i use less of my wand.

Do you find that you can clean into a room as easy as out of? I find the Bonzer is cumbersome trying to clean out of like with a wand.

I just noticed that I have the old style jets. I asked John to ship me the new jets that will have better rinsing with breaking the surface tension.

Ok here is the latest update regards to the mytee speed wand. I did parked it in my garage till today because mine came with the old jets that didn't rinse well the carpet, and now I have the new jets installed and ready to go. We slowed down this week because of our lock down, however I have cleaned 2 of my area rugs today to test this tool out with the new jets. One area rug is synthetic and the other is wool. I have used 350 psi with a 2.2gpm pump. I do run a powerful high cfm etm with 145 lift. I have sprayed both carpets thoroughly and then extracted them, the tool really hugs the carpet in some cases it is difficult to move specially on the wool rug, however there is a vacuum release cuff to ease that up. I was amazed my carpets dried in 30 min which I have never experienced such fast dry time. So the wand is great so far.

Let me talk about the cons. I am hopping that the jets will not clog that easily which they shouldn't because the line has a filter however if the jets gets clogged you will have to deal with 4 screws and a bolt, and that is not the issue, I think the craftsmanship is little bit off, I had some trouble lining up the 4th hole, this could be because I have an older model I don't know. Other then that it looks like built solid, if it lasts forever that would be a good buy.

My experience also. John hit a home run with this tool. I sold several already. I’ll share their feedback soon as I get it here too. Thanks
