Took my truck to my sons to clean it up. Prepping it for the new truck mount we have been collaborating with. It has the potential to be a game changer. Guess time will tell. Install is set to be completed in next 2 weeks.

Good for you rob. I see your simplifying your life.
I am focused on building everything that goes in my truck one day. From tools, to chemicals to accessories to machines. If someone else can, why can't I?

So does this new truckmount have to be in a box truck or can it be adapted to go in a normal low roof van?

Yes should fit in extended vans. Just want to do something out of the box but inside the box.

We Thompson water sealed it. Now we are putting down a roll on liner. Then rubber sound dampening.

I'm working on a rack that slides out for my van - will look something like this video (my mockup for sizing and parts). This would be neat to incorporate into your two-sided van to make even more use of space, like camper slide-outs

I like the truck style. Normally I have no use for gasoline trucks after owning both diesel and gas. But for a carpet cleaning vehicle with lots of short trips and cold starts the gas engine makes sense.
The roller doors make it so much easier work access everything.
