How do you remove the impeller?

Thanks pistol Pete I've watched the video it's helpful but he does not remove the impellers or lobes which ever you call it he only pulls the front plate off and changes the front bearings from what I'm being told there are bearings on the back side behind the gears the problem I have is the lobes are touching when they turn I've replaced the front bearings thanks for your help

Don't ask me how to do it but the timing needs to be adjusted. Maybe @Joe Kennedy could chime in as I know he has done it before.

I have completely rebuilt a roots blower and yes you have to retime it or it will self destruct! As for sutorbilt I have not messed with one.

When you remove both plates you must also set the lash between the lobe ends and the walls of the plates.
