There's a special place in Hades for scum who steal from hardworking people.

Hopefully said place in Hades involves sleeping on beds covered in rusty spikes and hungry bedbugs, molten lava all over the floors and no shoes in sight, and food that smells delicious but tastes like raw sewage when you eat it.

Thieves have hit me on several occasions. Really pisses you off as you work your ass off to get what you have and some entitlement bit comes and takes it. Love to smash him in the head with a wand.

In the meantime, if you need something I may have items laying around at our TMF Academy and I'll give them to you. Good luck

Hopefully one of the two work out. Just sucks literally being out of commission until something happens.

    X2 ^^^^^^

    maybe get some legal advise.

His truck mounted is not only bolted. It is part of the van since the van runs all the components. I would assume that when the manufacturer turns the truck into a carpet cleaning device, it all becomes one artifact.
But I'm no attorney nor have a clue how this works I just assume.

Sorry to learn about your van been stolen.
I use TRACKIMO for not only my work vans but also for my personal cars. Is a low cost tracking device. I got the kit to hard wire it, hidden somewhere in the car. It's about $180 and it comes with a full year of service, then only $5 a month after that. You can create virtual fences so it alerts you via phone app and email if the car goes beyond your fence, or Speed alerts, you can monitor where your car is trough the app, you can access its whereabouts history, if the car seats still for 5 minutes then it alerts you when the car starts moving again or if something "shakes" the car.
It may not deter thieves like an alarm but if god forbids the car gets stolen you have an extra resource so hopefully you can find it soon enough.

I'd still talk to an attorney. Do you have a loan on it? If so, the truckmount might be insured through the lender.

I can't believe that the insurance company won't cover the cost of the carpet cleaning equipment. After all it is bolted to the car. It is like they don't want to cover accessory what if that was s built in GPS system. I would think that they would have to cover it as long as you told them about it. I would imagine that if you did tell them about equipment and they didn't make you sign that TM is excluded they would have to cover it. Wands and hoses on the other hand is understandable if they don't cover that.

The truck mount should count under personal property which if you have homeowners insurance it may be covered under the theft clause.
If indeed it was stolen from your home.
