Idk if it's my solution line or the stains were already there because this was a seriously dirty house.

Anyways the problems I ran into were a blue stain left on one of the stairs(see photo).

The other problem which led me to believe it was the solution line was that when I was packing up at the end of the job I noticed light blue chalky looking stuff anywhere my solution line had touched. I touched my hands to it and rags and nothing came off it.

How old is the solution hose?

What brand is it?

If your using a solvent in your prespay and letting your solution line sit on top of it, sometimes you get a transfer stain. the fix to this is to spray some solvent again and clean it out.

What do you mean? And why does the color transfer?
old hoses tend to burst when you least expect them and by the time you get to the truck to disconnect.... Furniture got wet and a big puddle of water will form.
someone told you already about the color transfer. We use solvents and solvents dissolve the blue liner. now if the liner is old enough you don't need solvent for it to dissolve.

I bought a brand new 50ft solution line as a back up and few months ago I have used it for the first time and I also noticed blue lines on the carpet after spraying my pre-spray. This does not happen on my other 2 but his one it leaves blue marks. I figured it is a cheap china made. What else could it be?

Yeah when it comes to TM hoses you have to go quality. I have 3 lengths and will be replacing a length a year, which I think will be sufficient... But will play that by ear. You want something like the Parker paraflex. Don't go China. And a bit of solvent should get rid of the spots

Yeah new cheap ass hoses the Raptor ones I have leave blue marks. They rinse out easy though.....ill be replacing it this spring. Another factor is how much usage you get outta them.

Does it happen to be 3 star hose? My new TM came with 150’ of it, and it took me all of 3-4 work days, to replace it

Buy the non marking solution hose, makes a difference.
