Locko,
The us product people talk about how that wand recovers more the others, do you feel (or have you tested) that the westpak wand is as good or better at recovery?

Hey Jamie,

I forgot to ask, what does the Solus heat the water up to as it going in by pass mode. Does it heat it up to a specific temp and then shut off the heater, or does it just keep heating the water with no threshold?

You know something, the evolution wand is almost the same as the westpak 0530,the eve is slightly better than the westpak on weight maybe 1.5 pounds, the head design is straight no dramatic transition from the tube to the head, now i noticed something from the evolution wand and Ken Harris was right about it, the head will brake on time, the guy who let me use his solus, and the wand, I already saw the small crack in the vacuum head, almost no leakage at all, but it will continue breaking.
I think the position on the jets can be better, you can adjust the jets from the wand.
Now 600 bucks wand vs 300 bucks wand, also the westpak can be used with any tm, but no the evolution portable wand.

Wes,
The solus 500 recirculate the water from the tank thru the heater, so every time the water is passing ten heater of course is getting hotter, but There is a temp sensor that once the water temp from the fresh water tank reach 125 Fahrenheit it will make stop the pump, now when you want to stet extracting, the water from e tank pass again the heater and it will get even hotter.
I hope I answered you.

Forgot, to pre heat the water you need to turn on the heated And the pump, the machine will do the rest. The bypass switch is you can't get 2different circuit
And it will turn off the heater.

A few months ago I met 2 guys at Chem Max that had a the portable (1.5 tube) evolution wand. I asked them if they had any problems with the wand. They said no, we just wanted two new jets and a new guild in stalled on it, it looked in ruff shape.
They said they used it every day all day long for over a year with their TM.
I said I just got one and I kind of baby it. They then told me they got it as a free bee when they did some contract work to clean out a building with a carpet cleaning. I guess the new owners did not know what it was.

I think out of all the wands US products sell, a few had some problems.
I like the evolution wands and titanium wands, hands down the best wands on the market.

I own an Evo wand the truckmount version i work with it all the time i installed 1/2 non drip extenders and new 10102 high flow jets and a SS soft touch valve i did buy every part from this site
i got it use for $350.00 2 years ago it looks old but it does not show any cracks or leaks, i will buy an Evo wand again
i have a big machine with a 59blower up to 800CFM carpets get flush with alot of water and still dry under 2hrs
the reason you are not going to see alot of steem it's because the Evo wand recovers the water quick the less steam you see the less heat you are loosing in the air .
