Sofa Upholstery Seat

Hello All - cleaned a customers couch and this happened. It turned the white seat to an almost orange.
Any suggestions?

Is this the "seat" that you are talking about?

It looks like the deck panel, its not the seat. its what supports the seat cushions

Yes, sorry the deck panel - it's under the cushions. I'm pretty sure I used too much water but concerned about the color change

That's just poor cleaning technique. If you are going to clean the decking you must mist them out evenly and clean them with minimal water and dry stroke them well. Also force dry them.
