If you think social media is incapable of boosting your sales, then think again.

Starting from Facebook Live to Instagram Stories, there’s a wide variety of exciting new tools to market your product.

To answer your question,
What good is social media for Janitorial Cleaning Services?

If your company/service isn’t active on social media, then you’re losing out on lots of potential leads!

Most importantly, it enables your business to get the right amount of exposure to gain momentum during the initial period.
  • Social media is a place where people prefer connecting with other like minded individuals.
  • Next time request a client to leave a review on your Facebook page.
  • Prospects are skeptic all the time; hence, only reviews from real clients can generate authenticity online.
Businesses today are utilizing the latest features of social media to create new contents every day either going live or posting moments on Instagram and Facebook.

Instagram Stories:

Stories are more than just pictures, so if you want to tell the story of your business the “Instagram Stories” is a great place to begin with.

At the top of the news feed, you’ll see a row of “friends” you frequently chat with.

If you’re a custodial service with multiple places to clean every day, use the latest “Instagram Stories” so the prospects get to see your everyday tasks throughout the day.

Follower Base:

Social media can be used for tracking individuals that have a huge follower base.

Find out more about these individuals through Facebook so you could communicate with them while offering them a discounted service, in exchange for their reviews.

Prospects get easily influenced by renowned individuals. People within the same network might even decide to give you a call due to peer pressure.

Video Content:

There are readers and also viewers, but not all viewers are readers.

Some individuals prefer watching short videos while the rest prefer to read. If you intend to attract both, then you must produce video contents at the same time.

Short videos on “Ways to Grow a Cleaning Business”, and “Effective Tips for House Owners” are the best topics to begin with.

Informative and well articulated contents is the key to happy customers; moreover, it’s the only way to attain viral marketing.

Send Messages:
Sending message to the right prospects has the potential to convert them into customers, so go ahead, start messaging people on social media.

Ask them if they’re looking for any reliable janitorial service or not.

Even if they’re not, it’s important to closing a conversation politely. Do remind them of what you have to offer while maintaining complete professionalism throughout the conversation.

Have you tried LinkedIn Sales Navigator yet? The first month is free, but the subscription rate afterward will be $80/month.

Try it out if you can, I am sure you’ll find it amazingly resourceful.

Although Air Duct Cleaning isn’t something we offer, I would think Facebook/Linkedin/Reddit would be the most beneficial platforms to utilize.

I would think the average sale is typically higher so the business may be able to afford a little more to acquire that customer. But, you wouldn’t want to spread your budget thin enough so that it doesn’t work at all. (know your CLV)

I came to this conclusion quickly, here’s why

USE
Facebook - largest demographic actually has air ducts :) Bonus points if you pull off a live video!

LinkedIn - hunt corporate customers with many air ducts :) Free $50 ad credit to get started after your company page is created.

Reddit - establish yourself as an authority in the field by answering customer questions from across the country :)

MB Not
Instagram - Too young of an audience that will maybe never own a home :(

Snapchat - Too young of an audience, and the audience isn’t looking for services. Maybe fashion, tech trends, friend updates, mb more :)

Twitter - People just aren’t looking for air duct cleaning, but companies are there posting the offers.

Messenger - You could put ads here, but other than having a presence on facebook and being responsive to customer messages. I would include this when setting up a facebook campaign and possibly even instagram with being sure i was only targeted users that owned a home. I’d monitor the results, rinse and repeat until ROI has hit the sweet spot.

WhatsApp - Hmmm, how many people here even use this? Or even better have booked a service professional from here?

Also, the effort required to build, nurture and maintain a presence on each of these platforms carries it’s own cost and postings should be tailored to the audience of each. I cannot see myself dedicating that much time to a post on snapchat or other network that goes unseen :(

Hi,

Thanks so much for your insightful criticism, I appreciate it a lot.

Despite Instagram having a large underage demography for now, these are the same individuals that will own a private house in five years at least.

You can start instilling a sense of need in them starting at an early age.

WhatsApp gives you the ability to establish contact with prospects right away. The easier it is to find you, the better for your business.

And lastly, this entire marketing process requires additional investment of both time as well as resources, which is why I've been outsourcing these related activities to the following agency:

https://skytechicon.com/

Technicians are able to make extra thousands these days simply by investing a few hundreds.

I agree that instagram could be a helpful resource, but it's just a small amount of users that are really there. I would test them alongside my FB ads and track the ROI.

5 years out is like 50 years in Internet time FWIW

I do need to check more into WhatsApp, thank you for the recommendation.

I did check out the Skytech link, but it seems they only offer image clipping or related services. I've yet to find the service page where it's possible to spend $XXX and get 10-20 ROI.

Do you have any case studies, resources or data you can share?
