I was wondering does SEO and Google really get the phone ringing? Does it really work and is it really worth the money? Can I get your opinion?

I'd say it works great...

Yes it works - it's just one part of the puzzle though. The biggest issue is that it's controlled by somebody else and they keep changing the rules! Like the 7 pack going to a 3 pack - major pain that one. Also depends where you are - major city can be tough to rank in.

If you're prospecting for NEW clients, you've gotta swallow the pill.

However it should be 1 of a minimum 10 methods you have to get new clients in the door.

Far too many small businesses are 'overweight' Google, lacking a comprehensive holistic framework for lead generation

Get a hold of me and we can go over what he said - gotta be really careful - some really crappy outfits out there that can do some real damage. I can also take a look at whats going on in your area as far as Adwords.

A big BIG word of caution is that a lot of these companies are also 'internally disruptive'.

The Internet is laden with stories of startups who's developers up AND LEFT to start a competing business or to work for a competitor.

I'm also concerned that most of the "innovation" technology & apps being brought to markets aren't TRULY innovative from a 'platform' perspective bit are more or less "plug-ins" built upon preexisting tech.
