Trying to remove this spot on ceramic tile. I believe it's from one of those commercial door stops with the rubber feet. It lines up exactly with the door stop, but not 100% sure. I have tried all sorts of chemicals (groutmaster, acid, degreaser, goof off, graffiti remover) and equipment (175, spinner, turf pad, brush, melamine, scraper) but have not been able to put a dent in it. Any ideas on how to get this off? Thanks in advance.

Looks like it’s in the recessed areas, try a wire brush. Brush it lightly. If the wire brush doesn’t work alone put some goof off on it again, let it sit for a couple minutes, then wire brush some more.

Didn't work. No idea what it is, and how else to try and remove it. Any other suggestions?

I’m at a loss here. If it was rubber, tar, or adhesive the goof off should have removed it, the wire brush for sure. The only other thing I can think of is that it’s black paint that solvent won’t work on. Maybe try some rubbing alcohol, wet it with alcohol and let it sit 10 minutes before wire brushing.

Honestly I’m guessing you won’t be removing it.
