So my Rotovac Bonzer came in today. I figured I would give a little review on first impression and how it works moving forward.
A little background info and details.
Years cleaning: 2.5
Machine: boxxer 423
Heat: 170-200
Water pressure :500-600 psi
Other tools used: cx-15, 360i, 12" wand, 15" wand, sx-12, Gecco.

First impression:
Coming out of the box, the handle and general assembly look very cheap ( dont feel cheap, but look cheap) reminded me of handling a 1970's rototiller with those skinny stainless handle bars or my first red trike. The "deck" is very solid, and its a single piece. The glide assembly is easy and user friendly. The solution hoses & pressure fittings were very snug and was happy to see that rotovac used plenty of teflon tape so the brass fittings wont leak and will be easy to maintain. The 2" vacuum hose assembly is complete garbage because of how they set up the clear sight tube. I will be modifying this to be fixed into place. The tube has no fitting on the end and looks sloppy. I would like to have seen it fixed into location and an "L" coming off with a flash cuff for easier hose management. ( my hose disconnected 2x during the 1st cleaning) . There is a gap around the sight tube and bottom cuff assembly.
Very little assembly is required. Just put in the handle and go.

First cleaning:
I was excited to use the Bonzer because of its light weight and front to back cleaning. I used with a forward wet stroke and dry back stroke. This was plenty even for the rat nasty carpet I cleaned. The suction was beautiful, I could also see the dirty water in the sight tube. The wand did not put out too much water but the way it encases the heat and instantly vacuums leaves carpets with little excess moisture to dry quickly. If this tool only had the 1 vacuum head, it would not be nearly as good as it is. The carpets looks very clean and fluffy after a one go around with the double strokes. It does not give the wand marks so many people love ( I post groom anyway) but you could see a major difference in the finished product quality. The hoses were a pain at first but I got used to it, I will be making some mods to accomodate.

So, so far my rating out of 5 stars
Build quality- 2.5 of 5
Hose management- 2 of 5
Cleaning capability 4.5 of 5
Anti fatigue - 5 of 5

With my first impression and use. the $1400 price tag was not worth it. This is more of a $999 type of tool. It did help fatigue, usually I get some back pain after work, today I had none.
I will continue to review, will post pictures and video:)
