This is what I want to hear. Things that are important to me are: ease of use, quality of the cleaning, dry time, cleaning time and quality of equipment.

I'm liking this thread and also enjoy reading other members input that has the Bonzer as well. It is on my radar so users opinions are great :)
I want Mikee to use it for a month then take a reg wand for the day and then come back and tell us if he missed the bonzer and give imput on that.... im interested too

Thats my plan. Plus I will have both of my techs do input :). I am also tomorrow gonna do a test of dryness with a moisture meter clean two rooms one with aw029 and one with the bonzer. See the difference in moisture.

I might buy one but I don't know if I like the 13" size.
I guess it depends on if you plan on using it for residential or commercial, we clean with a 14" wand so it is a bit smaller than the wand but seems like it is easier on the body.

I swung by rotovac the other day since they are local and grabbed a demo Bonzer, really had been wanting to try it out. I was going to make a thread and review it on here but ill just add to this one.

First off, I love rotovac and have been using their gear for a long time now.. I know the guys there and they are a great company, always very helpful so I dont want to sound like I am bashing them lol

I ran the Bonzer on some empties I had on the schedule for friday. 1st job was small, approx 3 rooms. Honestly half way through the 2nd room my back was not happy, I felt like I had cleaned at least 3000sq ft.

The handle position is way too tight width wise, it puts you in a position like your holding a box between your hands out in front of you.

The hoses were a HUGE pain in the ass, constantly tripping over them.. im guessing this is something that you could adjust to though.

The water recovery seemed good, but I just could never tell how well I was flushing a problem spot... I like seeing the steam and physically watching it flush out certain areas.

The tool is very cumbersome to move around and lift into closets etc

You cant lift it on edges like wand to help with filtration lines. Anytime you move the tool from one area of the room to another you have to slide it around, if you lift it the head will flop around.

Second job I gave it another chance on a different type of carpet, also an empty... about half way through I just couldnt take it anymore the thing is so damn slow I might as well use the 360 and get a better flush.

I pulled out my VT 14 Ti wand, and it was like a dream compared to the Bonzer.. I smoked the rest of that job with soooo much ease. It was like running with 20lb weights on my legs then taking them off.. suddenly my wand felt absolutely weightless.

Last job of the day there was no possible way I was going to take the Bonzer out of the truck..

RIP Bonzer, glad I got to try it and I know its probably better for commercial than residential but still I would take my wand over it any day.

no comparison, that thing is a back killer.

With a wand I step into a stroke and step out, basically rocking back and forth with not much arm movement.. I can clean like that all day long with almost no fatigue.
I tried smaller strokes with the bonzer and really long whole room ones, its a sh!tty tool.. I really cant sugar coat it.

I supose if you are 25 and like slinging a wand all day this may not work......
But i can garantee both the zipper and bonzer have better flushing and cleaning ....
The key to both tools is to cut back on dry strokes....
Even when i dont do dry strokes i get better dry time than a wand with dry strokes.....
Ive tested it many times over the past 3 years
Like i said i rarely use dry strokes ...
Slow down with these tools take your time less labor and you get done about the same time...cant be running and slinging the bonzer around....
The bonzer is about the same time on homes ......
But both zipper and bonzer are faster on commercial.......

That's what I was wondering, I also rock back and forth and I can clean carpets all day like that,, I have no back or shoulder issues, I also use my wand for edges and stuff,, wow great response
