I was able to check this rewinder out at the experience. Very cool gatchet, and felt super well built. If I didn't already have an electric reel, I'd give it a shot myself.

I didn't believe you when you said 5 minutes. I was thinking, yeah right, it'll take me an hour at least.:) After watching the video I must say I'm impressed with the unit. Looks like it should work well enough and I think even I can install in less than 10 minutes, give or take 5 minutes! :)

Rob,
You are known in the industry for rigorous testing of everything you offer and tweaking the problem areas. What kind of testing have you done with this unit and what kind of warranty do you currently offer?

1 year in the field testing. Perfect after a few little tweaks. Built to last!

nice idea it will be much better if the motor mounts on the inside so the wires and motor are no exposed to damage seen something similar at eBay

Does the motor spin freely when its hooked up but not on? Cause i like to pull my vac hoses off manually onto my arm when setting up.
Also, you said “for the price of 1 carpet job”, my avg ticket is $185. Thats a great price Rob

Yes the motor free spins when off, It does not appear to have gear reduction.

I have a foolproof APO but it is 110 VAC. So I use a small inverter connected to the van battery, and I'm in business.

Been using it for over 10 years now with no problems.
