I'm going out to take a look at a 20,000 sq. ft. showroom and offices that was just remodeled, so basically this is a construction cleanup job. I can judge most of it and provide an estimate, but one thing I hadn't done yet is serious window cleaning.
The facility is about the height of a 2 story building, and from what the owner says, it has lots of glass that goes up to the top. Should I factor in the cost of scaffolds and the time it takes to move them? Can I get long poles with wash water supply and squeegee and do it? Or is window washing really a different animal and I need to just consider subcontracting?
I'm not one to turn away any chance to make money, but I don't want to get in over my head either. No pun intended.
