Question about the Rug Doctor

My 2nd appointment today told me he pre treated for me using this today, all I could say was "I wish you would not of done that" and smiled.

I have not read this thread as I am out for the evening with the wife. It has been brought to my attn that Steve Andrews name was brought up in a negative light. I'd like to state for the record that my wife and I have had Steve to our home. He is one of the most genuine people in our industry, professional and cordial person one could ever meet. Anything less is unacceptable.

Thats good rob... Problem is I dont care who he is or what he does or knows.... This isnt the first time he has used his ultra egotistical vocabulary to try and make underhanded remarks about me.... He lost my respect long ago...

That's great and I bet he's an awesome guy. But he's just an educated man telling me his opinion. Not trying to be negative but we all believe what we believe. I've had that... pre treated prior to my arrival.
Had one last month that put duct tape on all the spots . She wanted to make sure I knew where here spots on the carpet were are as she was not home.
Ended up having to use a drycleaning fluid to remove adhesive and charge more. I kindly educated her over the phone after job was completed.
See for a paying customer.... they get educated.

It has happened to everyone that has cleaned long enough, still dont understand why customers think Home Depot has better stuff then we use. The customer was watching in amazement and kept saying the last guy didnt get it that clean.

Put deodorant in your waste tank and the bubbles would make the neighborhood smell fresh. Good advertising

I just figured the neighbors could use a free car wash. Kill 2 birds with one stone

Always throw a shot of defoamer in the tank before starting. Never know when your gonna hit that bubble bath the kids spilled in the hall 4 months ago.

Yea I normally always do but got pretty lazy today but paid for it when i had to clean the mess spewing out of the back of my machine on the front porch

If the OP is still reading this thread then I will throw a monkey wrench into the discussion and say he has a much better chance of succeeding at cleaning his carpets with an Oreck Orbiter, some bonnets and some good encap prespray than he does with a Rug Doctor...for about the same equipment cost....just saying....HWE is for professionals with big guns for machines.

Wow! I hadn't gone on this thread cause the title read Rug Doctor so I really wasn't interested but I saw it was locked for a while so I said hey, something juicy is going on here. I'll speak my mind now cause I was about to start a new thread, just for this...

I find it absolutely hilarious that John is exactly the type of person who would never ever, in a million years hire a professional carpet cleaner if he wasn't one himself, yet he crucifies someone who is looking to use a rug doctor.

For you to disrespect Steve Andrew is absolutely ludicrous John but can't say it would inevitable, after all, he is probably the last true TMF professional who you had not insult, yes I'm keeping count. Most of them have already set you straight at one point or another.

The most disappoint thing out of all this is that now Steve will be forced to write two full apologetic paragraphs when correcting one of us on every single one of his posts. Sorry Steve but your knowledge goes beyond any of us can even begin to comprehend and for you to start every post apologizing for other members shortcomings(including my own) really gets tiring. I had never said anything out of respect. Other than that, whenever you post I make sure to read it twice...
