Everytime I rinse out my 5 gallon jug and then refill, it takes forever to prime. I'm following the instructions given by maker, but seems like shaking the hoses to remove the air bubbles is just taking to long. If anyone has any tips, it would be much appreciated.

Lee, you have a chemtex unit correct? If so, I have a very easy way to do it.

Nvmd, I stalked you. So you have the 20hp. While the machine is on at 2800rpms or so, remove the second hose out of the 5gal jug(not the one with the diaphragm) then grab your vac hose and shove the solution hose inside your vacuum hose and close it off with your hand.

You'll be watching the metering gauge jump in 2 seconds. You're welcome.

Here's a couple of photos for you.

No problem, it makes it 1,000x's faster then waiting for the line to prime. As soon as you cover the vacuum opening, you'll see the nipple shoot to the top of the metering gauge. Make sure you pull the hose out and throw it back into the solution jug quick, if you take your time, you'll give the line a chance to get a bubble in it and you're back to square 1.

Great advice. We do this to clear air out of the lines also. Try to not run out water but at times we do. This keys air in system. Have to purge it and Vac does it fast!
