All the Best, Ed
Im going to look at some used equipment after I pick up some rugs this evening....One of the items is an Oreck Orbiter in great condition Im told. What would be the most youd pay? There arent any brushes/pads just driver. I might buy the whole lot thats for sale but you dudes rave about this tool so I may leave with just this...Any advice? @Omar @Jimsteam @goomer@keep it clean

After 2 years with the Oreck I /we actuality prefer the Grandy groomer for smaller or lightly soiled carpet or the 13 inch 175.
Oreck / red pad does work well for tile.
If You only have a porty I can understand appreciating the lightweight Oreck.
I will never buy another Orbiter.
Brush is useless IMO and the Pad driver eats up 3M pads , Bonnet Pro ,Excellent and the cheap Janilink pads.

The brush should be a little stiffer. bristles on it are very soft(black). it works but have to take your time. ive been using white and red pads with it.
Im cursed with rooms packed with furniture. so it works very well for me. for empty large areas I carry in big birtha. but i still use oreck on steps.

It does work well for steps but so does a $30 car buffer.
Hated the Oreck around furniture when it had a mind of its own

For me,that happens more often with the brush, it bounces like crazy. Since i switched to the vct pad, ive had no issues.

This is my new toy.
