Hello all. I am new here and do VLM encapsulation cleaning only. We primarily use Benefect Impact as our pre-spray treatment which I feel does an excellent job combined with encapuclean Green DS.

My question to all the VLM guys is what kind of pre-sprays do you guys use? Anyone on here have any experience with any enzyme based pre-sprays they use in encapsulation cleaning? In other words it would be a prespray that would not need to be extracted. I feel sometimes we can do a better job with an enzyme based pre-spray or perhaps even boost the benefect with an enzyme based product for that extra kick. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot

Marco

Thanks for some of the input.

Joe Cool: Wat product exactly do u use from Bonnet Pro?

ebarnett: yes Grease Hawg is great. but I dont like the fact that its unsafe for the stain resistant carpets and natural fibers
Anyone else with suggestions? Thanks

If concerned, drop to Vacaway Hot Knife Extreme. Its nearly as potent as Grease Hawg but without the high ph.

Thanks. Is hot knife safe on stain resistant and all fiber types like wool etc? Is it 2 in 1 product I mean prespray and encap or do I need to use another product with it? Thanks a lot guys. Appreciate it really

Hi Omar. We prespray with Benefect Impact, dwell time, run the brushpro, encap with encapuclean green ds and run crb again. Ofcourse we use general spotters like stain 1 , avenge etc as we run the crb. That is the basic process.

Works great but on some super greasy carpets i feel v can boost the benefect with an enzyme product or perhaps a different prespray

Thanks

Yes I believe it is safe for all fibers. And yes you can use it as your encap cleaner and mix it stronger for a pre spray.

No better encap pre spray on the market than Vacaway Grease Hawg (4-8 oz a gallon) combined with Vacaway Detonator (5 oz per gallon) Because it is expensive, I do not use that combo as my main cleaner in my OP, but for pre spray and dwell the above recipe is awesome.

4-8 oz per gallon sounds like a lot?

We use Atomic from magic wand. 2oz per gallon and comes in powdered form.

Starts at 2 to 4 oz. But I think most liquid encap is 4 oz or more per gal. Heavy spots 6- 8 oz per gal. Magic wand is 2x concentrate and 2x price. Not knocking it. I liked atomic. Just very expensive.

Yup it's not cheap but it last a long time. And for me personally I love powered stuff so I have 1 less thing to worry about freezing.

I like the smell of it too light scent. Also very easy to mix no foam. I agree that's also why I bought it was to have one less thing to bring in out of the cold. Also says it works as an extraction detergent. I only tried it that way few times didn't like it. But for bonnet cleaning works great.

Yeah that's why I stopped using ReleaseIt, the smell was killing me. Atomic hardly smells. I never tried it with extraction, but it's all we use for endcapping now.

I wouldn't use it on heavily soiled trashed carpet but Atomic is a very good prespray for HWE and a very good encap for VLM. No bad smell no foaming and leaves no residue. I think it's Magic Wands best product. It cost $129 but it's worth the price. You will make a lot of money off that $129.
