I have a nasty restaurant job coming up and with all the choices out there what is everyone’s best mix on a greasy restaurant?

Do you know the fiber the carpet is made from?

Is your water hard or soft?

What temperature are you cleaning at?

What pressure will you be cleaning at?

Just some of the unknown factors that will affect the best product for the job.

When I do this type of job, I am using truckmount, heat around 210 F, 250 PSI and the water here is hard.

I would prespray with Flex Powder with Citrus Solv and rinse with Flex Fire.

If you have softer water, Flex Ice is definitely the best rinse.

Remember that soil suspension includes 4 factors - Chemical, heat, agitation, dwell time.

Don't neglect the other 3 by focusing just on chemical. If you miss the others you will only get mediocre results with any product.

What type of agitation will you be using?

    I agree with scott...
You might try a low alcaline emulsifier....8-9

I have used prochem dry slurry....
Now i use Kleanrite extreme heat from jondon...ph is 10...this stuff is not sticky

Reason I suggest an alcaline is because when you have 3-4 layers of grease and you clean the first few layers you nead an alcaline to keep cleaning......

I sometimes use flex ice to final rinse the soap out in heavy areas......

Absolutely go out and get a 360 rotary 15-17" with a tank......new these are 700$
You can find em used for half.....
That oreck is not gonna work...only for homes

I really like it. I bought a case of it. It works good at cutting grease. You can get free samples of it through their website.
