I'm considering adding water restoration to my business, I'm steady cleaning and would like to hire another tech and build more service into my existing business. I was curious about expanding into water damage, I service a fairly rural area with little competition from franchises or independent companies. Could it be as easy as going to WRT classes and buying some equipment, contacting local insurance agents and wait for phone to ring? How did you all start in the flood game? Thanks for your insight ahead of time.

I guess there are two options. 1. You have money to provide agents with all the equipment and this collaboration is beneficial for both of you.
2. The second option is that people follow you because you are an expert and they feel comfortable working under your leadership.
The second option is preferable, your workers won't be trying to f* you up, because they know you are smart enough to see that.
