Has anyone ever used a portable heater and put it next to an air mover to blow across the carpet to speed up dry time? Just curious if it’s worth buying a decent portable heater and trying it out so thought I would ask first if anyone has done it (sure some have lol). Thanks!

It sounds like you could do that but I wouldn't think it would make enough of a difference to be worth it. I usually just run my air mover in the rooms as I clean them. Those space heaters suck up a lot of power and it's the last thing you want to accidentally knock over. I usually tell my customers to crack windows or run their heater if they have centralized heating.

Yah I didn’t know if it run long enough to make a difference either. The problem with our area is most houses don’t have ac and if they do it’s not warm enough outside to run very long and it’s not cold enough to run the heaters. Like today it’s 66 outside with 53% humidity .

Just turn up the heat on house thermostat to force it to run. Set thermostat from auto to run to circulate the air. Portable heater wont do much of good. Not at 1500 watts anyway.
