Tonight I tested the Cimex and Encapuclean DS to the hilt... Clothing store at the mall that has not been cleaned in about 8 years.. Only vac'd nightly with a hoopty vac cleaner. I am out of the ReleasitDS so on my last trip to Interlink gave the EncapucleanDS a shot. Not sure if it was the dirtiness in the carpet or the fact that I like the ReleasitDS better.. Hard to say so I won't.

Here are a few pics.. Enjoy..IMG_7817.jpgIMG_7818.jpgIMG_7820.jpgIMG_7822.jpg IMG_7806.JPGIMG_7816.jpg

After 8 years of neglect I think they only way to properly "Clean" that carpet would have been with HWE.

The encap/SHAMPOO method is interium and not the restoration type clean you needed in this instance.

To think that by scrubbing in some chemical and expecting it to vacuum out is beyond what it was intended for.

Since I also do this method (Shampoo) the most important step and in my opinion the only "cleaning" actually done is the intial vacuuming before you shampoo.

The foaming you expierenced is what you want from a shampoo product.

Dude that looks like puke, if one of my $12 hour workers came back with that mess...
i would be pissed

Perfect example why encap routes need some practical experience.
Total Mess

I agree it needed a HWE extract, but the location of the store inside the mall would not allow for it. I know my midget sized pics don't give the best shot. The carpet was nasty to begin with, used my pile lifter today and it looked about 80% back to original... The pics were a little dark but the crusty was extremely happy with the results.

Only thing I would have done different would have been to rake the carpet out to rid the cimex swirls. Other than that I was very happy with the before and after.
