I’m somewhat new to the industry. I have acquired a performer 405 and have been using it for roughly 6 months. I’ve ran into the problem of my water not bypassing and quickly becoming too hot. I have cleaned the orifice and screen. I’ve also took the bypass solenoid apart and cleaned it, still no luck. I’ve also noticed when I try to turn my heat bypass valve open, the pressure remains the same. In the past I’ve noticed my pressure to decrease at the gauge when I turn the valve open to cool the water back down. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
