Never had any problem with clo2 but you must be careful using the powder on nylon. The stronger you use it the more chances you are taking.
I use liquid Just gone on nylon, wool, and furniture usually at 12 oz. Powder on poly but like anything you must test first.
I use them both with encap deodorizers that have a nice scent/smell. Usually Bonnet Pro Omega Citrus or Vacaway Encapucide Lemon.
I have never used clo2 by pouring on carpet and soaking to the pad. I only use it in my encap to sanitize/deodorize carpet fibers. I use CRB to scrub carpet fibers to the backing and carpet is usually dry in 1-2 hours.
If pouring on carpet and soaking to pad you better use HWE and extract especially when using powder.
I pass on bad odor and heavily soiled carpets. They need HWE.
I don't make promises that I can't fulfill/achieve.
I no longer HWE. I'm all VLM now and don't take on jobs that need HWE.
Peter used Radical as a booster to NanoMax for the first time and it did a great job
It was the worst carpet cleaning I have done with VLM. Rental Property for long time customer. Cheap light grey poly that they put in rentals.
2 bedrooms and living room and a stairway with old berber carpet.
Living room and steps was bad but Steps cleaned up easy.
I only used 2 oz NanoMax and 2 oz Radical with very hot water and it came out beautiful. I was shocked. I could not have done better with a TM.
It took almost 3 hours but it had gum, wax, and red stains from the wax and lots of other stains.
I used my 13'' 175-300 rotary with a brush to scrub and then Ironman bonnets to extract. Love the speed of the 300. You don't realize how slow a 175 is until you use a 300. It's really nice having both speeds.
Just did senior living 1st floor hall ways and lobby. 2oz, Nano but ran out of radical. Pool supply bought a gallon of oxidizer Baquacil 1 oz. to a gallon . $18.00 it worked great lightened up the carpet a cleaner on bonnet pro face book uses it.
