So I've been using my Orbot coming up on two years. I have a few commercial jobs I use it on monthly. Yesterday while doing a CGD at a Dentist's Office the thing fell apart.

What is the fix? How much money? Is there a better pad driver option out there? Been thinking about making my own using a pad driver and having a metal plate attached tot he top of the driver and bolted onto the Orbot. Any advice ???

This thing below.

Johnny, what ever you decide to repair your Orbot, make sure to replace those 4 phillips head screws that held the drive plate on with better hardened stainless steel. That soft crappy hardware they use will eventually give you troubles.

You hit the wall? I had that happen too. Block flew off the machine and put a hole in the wall.

Not that I'm aware of. My wife was actually running the Orbot when it happened.

She is innocent. Friction heat causes that to happen. I bet those mounting screws were hot! disc basically melted off the machine.

They were hotter then hell.

I freagin hated that Velcro garbage on my challengers, I too made my own pad driver using red brush.

My trinity came that way.

@Johnny Bravo are using a tuway thin one or is that a regular tuway bonnet my experience has never been to great with those much slower operating speeds IMO
