I am looking to start my own business and I am thinking that cc is what I am looking for, but I have a couple of questions and wanted to see what you think.

1. I have no experience cleaning carpets. I will take IICRC classes and buy a newer truckmount. Do you think this is good enough to deliver good cleaning results that will make customer's happy? If not, then what kind of training?
2. Suppliers make it sound like they can help you with experience along the way (chemicals, cleaning process etc.) Is that true is your experience?
2. What should I look for in a truckmount. Psi, cfm, what brands to consider/stay away from? what is the best equipment in your opinion?


Here is the situation:
I can pursue this about 30 hours a week. I have other income and don't need the income from cc immediately
My background is in sales and marketing.
I don't want to spend money on a portable that I may have to upgrade later. I want a truckmount that will compensate for the lack of experience in cc.

I understand that the business plan and making the phone ring is the most important thing but I am also concerned about the 2 questions listed above.
