Hi everyone,

I am thinking of start a carpet cleaning business with myself as the only employee, part-time to start out. I have some experience cleaning commercial carpets with a self-contained extractor through my facility management job. I have no other experience. My aim is to purchase some equipment and practice at home before taking customers. I would appreciate some advice/help with the following questions:
- If I want to clean tile/hard surface, are there portable extractors that can clean both carpet and hard surface? Or do I need to purchase 2 separate ones?
- How do you extract in tight spaces like behind toilets and such, a handheld wand attachment?
- What are some ways to lower dry time esp. to compete with the larger companies that claim their carpets dry within an hour or two?

Thanks for you help everyone
