Btu is potential energy. It's defined as amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of water by one degree... I believe they are measuring the amount of heat that this thing can put out.

note little giant has a lower flow rating. This is saying at 5 to 7 gpm 130 is your rise.
500 psi with jets you may be using 1 to 2 gpm.

I'll write more tmw when I'm on computer.

I'll interpret it for you. It means you should drop being a carpet cleaner, buy a squeegee and become a full time window cleaner.

I'm no expert...but based on my experience with my LG3HP the difference is flow.

I looked it up...that heater you listed will generate massive heat based on carpet, and even, tile cleaning flow rates.

What van will you be installing the big propane heater in? Those heaters are to tall for a regular roof van. You will need a medium roof or high roof van for that monster heater.

Why not a diesel heater? You get more BTU's for fuel used. You will burn less fuel by a little with diesel and get more BTU's for fuel spent. Will have to be vented.

If you are looking for a clean burn I might be able to get you a propane that will out heat the Little Giant and fit in a regular roof van. I would have to check to see if I can still get them.

If you are looking for a clean burn from propane.
Do you want electronic ignition, 750 millivolt? I think I can get it with everything electronic.
Or do you want it like the Little Giant manual light? Be cheaper this way.

How hot do you want it 250 or 280? Probably can get diesel or propane to do either.

    How many GPM?

Might want to try out choke masters diesel heater before deciding :).

Thank you bud. I'm looking at anything that is reliable and can hold 220* steady 4gpm at 1300 psi when doing tile. Also the ability to control the temperature like the little giant. I don't know how the electronic ignition works but if it makes life easier would be worth looking into it. Let me know what you got. For what I understand on Allies post, seems like the little giant will be more than good enough. If you can get something more reliable and in the price range, we should talk.

    PS definitely not diessel.

Sure, use hot water for glass cleaning, especially when it is about -20F. I saw a girl come out of her house one time with a pot of steaming hot water. I was wondering what she was going to do with it and then I saw her heading for her car with frosted windshield. Apparently my neighbor saw it as well. I dashed to the door to try to stop her. Me and my neighbor both came busting out of our doors just as she got the water tossed toward the windshield. We were too late! The look on her face said it all as the glass instantly cracked in a thousand different directions.

I had to go back in my email 2015 to find the prices. No wonder I went to diesel . Looking at $4500.00 with all the goods plus $275.00 to ship. Heater weighs 350 lbs. Super expensive! Would have to call to verify prices are the same.
    Difference from a Little Giant.
    4000 psi
    4 GPM
    Schedule 80 coil
750 millivolt safety gas valve, will shut gas off if pilot light goes out
Auto ignition, will light with a flip of a switch.
Flow switch, heater will only stay on with water flowing, shut off when you let go of the trigger.
250 degrees, maybe able to add 325 degree steam option for same money. Would have to call to verify.
Thermostat with dial, 100 degrees and up written on it.

I will PM you some info on where you might be able to get a Little Giant 4HTXP from a guy at a decent price.
