Ryan created me a new postcard recently and at the last minute i changed the picture. I felt the pic of the woman mopping was negative and seen bad feedback on facebook testing with a similar pic of a woman vacuuming.

What do you think?
Did we make the right call?

I like the dog 10x better personally.

Free sealing! Bloody hell! you must be charging a few bob for the cleaning, if you can give free sealer away.

I like the cards very nice as usual from Ryan. Would the dog one only really appeal to those clients with pets?

The dog for sure. For several years my boss at Coit used a dog in all his mailers and I always loved it. Make this dog the "Method Mascot" and use him in all your advertising.

I don't care if you have a pet or not you have to love this commercial:

Women mopping. More relevant to your message.

If your test show otherwise however.....go with that.

I like the dog on the back because it's relevant to the content on that side of the card. On the front I would ether change his message or change him to something else more relevant to your content

Yeah its a valid point but a high % of people who hire us for t/g have dogs.
No they dont call with a direct stain like carpets.

Its definitely an undercurrent though, ties together more then you think.
Sometimes marketing is implied and not direct.

What in the world is that lady using for a mop?

Use this one and you won't have any problems:

I like the dog for the carpets, but not for the grout. I'd have some fat guy dropping his hamburger on the tile and then stepping on it. Women can relate to that kind of family life better :D

knocked that one out of the parK!

I always avoid pets even know they are big sellers because I hate pet stains. But the design is perfect

Since we added our dog (Mr. Anderson the CX dog) to our ads,
our response rate is up over 17%
This is after 3 months now.
Same basic ad format, simply added my dog and a text bubble.
We dress him in a seasonally appropriate outfit that includes a bow bow tie.
People actually comment about the dog when booking.
They want to know if he is really ours or just a paid stand in.

@shane deubell
Do you have a family dog that is NOT too old that you could start to use as a mascot or recognizable branding features in your ad?????

I know Mark Saiger also uses his dogs with much success in the same way.
